Forensic

IES clients benefit from the expertise of the company’s in-house engineers, with qualified specialists in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical and Electrical/Electronic Engineers.

The company’s Milan office has its own laboratory to carry out initial measurements and observations on electrical and electronic equipment. Further detailed analysis can subsequently be assigned to one of the qualified external laboratories approved by IES.

Product samples, debris material from losses, operating data recordings, witness statements and incidental evidence are analysed by our Forensic Engineers to develop a detailed Root Cause Analysis report, which may include recommendations to prevent recurrence.

IES engineers can also be relied upon to provide evidence on their findings in Court or Contractual Dispute Resolution Proceedings, including Arbitration.
