Construction Claim in Poland

Total claim: 499,089.25 PLN. Deformation of surface of two maneuvering squares.
After a few months’ use, the surfaces were unstable.

Defects observed:

• visible surface deformations
• blocking of doors to the hall, which became impossible to open
• puddles forming after rain
• surface cracks
• damage to storm drains

IES took samples for laboratory testing and examined the following factors:

• thickness of both layers of the surface
• extraction of the worn out layer and bonding layer
• density index of the bonding layer and degree of wear according to Polish norm PN-67/S-04001/08.
